5.1.2.2 Cargo net 10,000
pound capacity. Each net assembly stowed as
specified in para 3.2.5 shall
be packaged per Method III of MIL-P-116, in a
close-fitting box conforming
to PPP-B-636, VIIc. Closure shall be in ac-
cordance with Method V of the
appendix to the box specification.
5.1.3 Commercial. Each net assembly stowed as specified in para 3.2.5
shall be packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-1188.
5.2 Packing. Not required. The unit container shall serve as the
shipping container. For marking purposes the level of pack shall be the
same as the level of packaging.
5.3 Marking. Military levels of protection shall be marked in accordance
with MIL-STD-129. Commercial packaging shall be marked in accordance with
MIL-STD-1188.
6. NOTES
6.1 Ordering Data. Procurement documents shall specify:
6.1.1 Title, number and date of this specification.
6.1.2 Quantities and identity of components or total assemblies being
procured.
6.1.3 Time frame required for production deliveries.
6.1.4 Whether or not a pre-production First Article Test is required for
any component or assembly.
6.1.5 Time frame required for pre-production models,
6.1.6 Level of packaging and packing required.
6.1.7 See Section 3.1.4 for Government Furnished Material.
6.1.8 The net repairability test of 4.6.3 may be waived at the discretion
of the procuring activity in instances of follow-on procurement from the same
supplier.
