4.7 Failures. Failure of any net part or component during the tests except
as specified herein shall be cause for rejection. Apart or component is con-
sidered to have failed, if after once having functioned properly, it no longer
functions properly or is defective. All failures will be recorded.
4.8 Design Demonstration. The nets shall be demonstrated to verify that a
typical intersection lies in one plane per Section 3.
4.9 Examination of Packaging. An examination shall be made to determine
compliance with the applicable packaging, packing, and marking requirements.
The sample unit shall be one container fully prepared for delivery, except that
it need not be sealed. Examination for closure defects shall be made of con-
tainers fully prepared for delivery. Characteristics to be examined and the
defects applicable thereto shall be specified below:

5. PACKAGING
5.1 Packaging. Packaging shall be Level
A,
B, at Commercial, as specified
(see 6.1.6).
5.1.1 Level A. Each net assembly stowed as specified in para 3.2.5 shall
be packaged per Method III of MIL-P-116, in a close-fitting box conforming to
PPP-B-601, overseas type, style 1.
5.1.2 Level B.
5.1.2.1 Cargo net 5,000 pound capacity. Each net assembly stowed as speci-
fied in para 3.2.5 shall be packaged per Method III of MIL-P-116, in a close-
fitting box conforming to PPP-B-636, W5s or W5c. Closure shall be in accordance
with Method V of the appendix to the box specification.
