4.4 Examination. Each concentric line assembly shall be
examined for compliance with the requirements specified in 3.2
though 3.5. This element of inspection shall encompass all
visual examinations (see 4.5) and dimensional measurements (see
4.6). Noncompliance with any specified requirements or presence
of one or more defects preventing or lessening maximum efficiency
shall constitute cause for rejection of the lot.
4.5 End item visual examination. The end items shall be
examined for the defects listed in Table I. Noncompliance with
any specified requirement shall constitute a defect.
