MILITARY SPECIFICATION
PLATFORM, ASSEMBLY, CARGO, AERIAL DELIVERY, TYPE V
This Specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of
Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This document rovers one type of airdrop platform system
designated as type V, and all components thereto. The modular platforms
assembled or disassembled as required. Platforms of various lengths are
formed by assembling the appropriate components (see 6.1).
1.2 Classification. Platforms and components shall be of the following
item numbers, as specification (see 6.2).
